David has worked in the financial services profession since 1995 with a practice focusing on the preparation and implementation of financial plans, wealth management, and insurance planning. The process entails helping clients get organized, while specifically identifying their goals, objectives, and seeing the "big picture." By using a combination of personal attention, industry related experience, and execution helping clients achieve personal and financial benchmarks. David holds the Certified Financial Planner professional designation in addition to being a recipient of the Five Star wealth manager award for six years running (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017).* He is a member of The Financial Planning Association and a former member of its national ethics committee. In addition he has volunteered for several charities including roles as a board member for the Women's Center of Montgomery County and a domestic violence counselor serving their hotline. David currently serves on the board of the Narberth Community Library. A graduate of Radnor High School in Pennsylvania and Lynchburg College in Virginia; he is a graduate of multiple Outward Bound Schools and a water sports enthusiast. He currently resides in Narberth, PA with his wife, a professional graphic designer, and two young children.
Shannon FitzGerald | Associate
Shannon manages the day to day operations in addition to planning analysis and data aggregation at the Berdow Planning Group. Her prior work experience includes Howard Fisher Associates and First Atlantic Capital, a private equity firm in New York City. Growing up in Boston and graduating Magna Cum Laude from Boston University, Shannon is a passionate Boston sports fan (including the Patriots). Similar to many of the firm’s clients, Shannon’s family is made up of entrepreneurs and her husband teaches on the subject matter. As a member of the Home and School Association of St. Margaret School and the President of the Women’s Club of Narberth, Shannon is an active part of the community. She currently resides in Merion with her husband and three sons.
