Larry Crickenberger, JD, CFP®

Larry is an alumnus of University of Virginia and New England Law School in Boston, MA. He graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctorate degree and practiced law in Washington, DC, and Alexandria for over 17 years. His practice was concentrated in the areas of Real Estate, Bankruptcy, Business Planning, Trust and Estates. He served as an Administrative Law Judge in the Commonwealth of Virginia and currently is a member of the Virginia Bar. In 1994, he moved to San Francisco, CA, and transitioned to the financial services industry, working with American Express Financial Advisors, Fidelity Investments, and Silicon Valley Bank as an advisor or planner before joining the Kestra Planning Group.
His community involvement spans organizations concerned with health care, hunger, wildlife, the environment, and LGBT rights. He is currently the President of the Board of Directors of Emergency USA, the US affiliate of Emergency, an Italian NGO that provides free, high-quality care to people affected by conflict and poverty. Larry has only historically housed cats that are psychic. Not that he discriminates. It is undetermined whether the cat foresaw his guardianship and acted or if there is a planetary pull.
Juan Santamaria, CFP®
Juan is a proud graduate of Texas A&M University, where he built a strong foundation in both business and finance. With a diverse background in wealth management and financial services, his experience spans both domestic and international markets, including foreign services, trading, consulting, and advising.
Juan has always been drawn to complex, intricate challenges, which is reflected in his hobbies—whether it’s the strategic depth of chess, the physical challenges of rock climbing, or the ever-evolving world of financial planning. He embraces the nuances of financial planning and the dynamic landscape of holistic strategies, where subtle details often lead to creative solutions—a challenge Juan relishes.
Passionate about giving back to the community, Juan’s commitment extends beyond his professional work. He once had the unique opportunity to assist an international client from Colombia—who happened to be his grandmother’s tenant at the time! Juan deeply values the interpersonal relationships he has built over the years; these connections continually motivate him to assist others on their financial journeys. It’s a small world, and Juan cherishes every opportunity to make a positive impact wherever he can
